Project: View Master ( Short Film )
In the quiet fog of a forest, a View-Master lies forgotten — dusty, strange, and seemingly alive. By chance a young boy discovers it along with a cryptic map and a skeleton key given to him by an antique shopkeeper who seems to know more than he lets on. But this isn’t an ordinary toy. The View-Master becomes a portal to wonders and places that the boy has never before witnessed. However, each image lived has its own consequence.
View-Master is a cinematic elegy about memory, time, and the way we hold on to the past. The film captures the feeling of flipping through a lifetime one reel at a time — and the quiet, beautiful heartbreak of realizing that every memory, no matter how cherished, eventually fades to black.
A cinematic journey through the lens of a toy that holds more than just images.
